A new $115 million indoor water park resort which would include restaurants and snack bars, a convention centre and a 140-room hotel is proposed for the Prescott, Ontario area. The Merrickville developer says the AquaWorld resort would attract 800,000 guests a year.

A resort with something to offer for everyone
Aquaworld is bursting with options and opportunities. An indoor and outdoor waterpark, several spa activities, a sports bar along with several great restaurants and snack bars, a fully functional gym along with other sports zones, and a hotel with 140 rooms and a convention centre.

The resort would be built on a 260 acre parcel of land located just one hour south of Ottawa on the border of Prescott and North Augusta Township. The developer says the resort would create 350 full-time and part-time jobs during the peak summer season.
